Pre-registering allows us to gather important information before a death occurs. When the time comes, we'll already have the details we need to begin caring for your loved one, helping make those first steps a little easier for your family.

No. There is no cost to pre-register, and you're under no obligation to use Eden's services. If your family chooses Eden when the time comes, payment isn't due until cremation services are arranged.

If your loved one is under hospice care, simply ask a member of the hospice team to contact Eden. If the passing occurs somewhere else, call us anytime, day or night. We'll explain what happens next, answer your questions, and guide you through each step.

We'll ask for a few basic details about your loved one, where they're currently receiving care, and how to reach you. Don't worry if you don't have every answer. We can always update information later if something changes.

Yes. We understand that circumstances can change. If your loved one's location, contact information, or other details change, simply give us a call and we'll update your pre-registration.

If you're within Shasta County, we aim to bring your loved one into our care within about two hours whenever possible. We'll communicate with your family or care team throughout the process so you know what to expect.

A trained member of the Eden team will arrive with care and professionalism. They'll explain what to expect, answer any immediate questions, and treat your loved one with dignity every step of the way.

Every situation is different depending on permits and required documentation. In many cases, families receive their loved one's ashes in about ten days. Because much of the information has already been gathered through pre-registration, the arrangement process is often simpler for families.

We ask because additional equipment and staffing may be needed for heavier individuals. Our standard price covers individuals up to 300 pounds. If additional charges apply, we'll explain everything before moving forward.

Direct cremation is the simplest form of cremation service. It does not include a viewing or funeral service beforehand. Instead, we bring your loved one into our care, complete the required paperwork, perform the cremation at our own facility, and return the ashes to your family. Many families choose to hold a memorial or celebration of life at a later time.
